·      Application Form: A web-based comprehensive, intuitive application form that captures all necessary information, including personal details, academic records, and references.

 

·      Application Period: Opens in May and closes June of each year, for the academic year that begins the following August or September. 

 

·      Submission: Applicants are to submit their completed form online no later than June 15 of each year.

 

·      Interview: Conducted in July of each year.

 

·      Award Announcement: In August the eventual winners will be announced on the scholarship web portal followed by formal award email to each winner along with the scholarship package. Similarly, each winner’s university will be notified via email along with the scholarship packages of the successful student. 

 

·      Scholarship Package: Consists of:

1)    Letter of award with award details – Effective date, yearly amount, duration, conditions for staying on and renewing the scholarship.

2)    Pledge Statement to abide by the terms of the scholarship, to be signed by each scholarship recipient and his/her university, which must be returned to EACF before the award takes effect.

   3)    Methods to keep EACF informed of recipients’ academic progress each semester.
